If you need to reset 2FA on your Blocto account due to a change of device or a lost device, please follow the steps below:
To reset 2FA due to a change of device:
- Open the Blocto app and go to "Settings."
- Click on "2 Factor Authentication."
- Click "DISABLE" and enter the verification code sent to your registered email address and your 2FA passcode to disable it.
- Set up 2FA on your new device by following the prompts in the Blocto app.
To reset 2FA due to a lost device:
- Send an email to support@blocto.app from the email address associated with your Blocto account.
- Provide the following information so we can verify your identity as the owner of the account:
- Blocto account email
- Date of account registration
- Last known location of login (country)
- Device used to log in to the account
- Assets held in the account
- Please note that it may take 2-3 working days to confirm and process the request, as 2FA is an important security feature that requires careful verification.
